Divine Dwelling

From time to time, Thai people believe in holy spirits, especially the owner of the land where they live and do their businesses on. These holy spirits called "Land spirit". They may be the ancient owners of their pieces of land. After they deceased, they still stay around that area, because their mutual relationships. The newcomers should respect to these land spirits because of their prior ownership and, particularly, prior contributions. Proper obeisance and proper courtesy will impress the land spirit, and result in their blessings, protection, fertility and, nowadays, prosperity. We strongly believe that the land spirit of this place exists, and we wish to pay respect to him. This small miniature of Thai traditional home is specially built for being his dwellings.
